Matt Mitchell – Senior Pastor

Matt is a husband and a father whose desire is to see the faith community give of themselves generously to the greater community-at-large. He is a firm believer in the church outside the four walls. Matt is a pastor and missionary; seeking to reach people with the love of Jesus Christ.  In his spare time, Matt enjoys spending time with his family.

Josh BakerYouth & Young Adult Pastor

A native of San Diego, CA, Josh has devoted the last 20 years of his life  to discipling middle and high school students. He loves to build environments and relationships that help students believe fully in Jesus, belong to the community of faith, become like Christ, and build His Kingdom in the world.

In his free time, Pastor Josh loves rock-climbing with his daughter, getting beat by his son at every video game there is, watching movies, mountain biking, and playing music. He is a big fan of coffee, bacon, Star Wars, the White Water Center, and rich conversation over good food.

Michelle Owens- Children’s Ministry Pastor

Michelle has a passion for children and works to build their relationship with Christ.  Michelle administers children programs at FWC and facilitates events that engage children.  Michelle is full of energy making all children that come to FWC feel welcomed and loved.  In her spare time, Michelle enjoys spending time with her family and friends.

 

Gloria Ratchford – Office Administrator

Gloria has been office administrator for more than 20 years and truly loves serving the people of First Wesleyan Church. She is a lifelong Wesleyan and has attended First Wesleyan Church for more than 50 years. She was married to Joe for 35 years before his untimely passing.  They are parents of Matt, Seth and Robin. She has been blessed with five beautiful grandchildren and enjoys spending as much time as possible with them.

Phil DuncanChoir Director

Phil has been serving God in music ministry for over 50 years. He feels that God has given him a wonderful ministry partner in Susan and has been gracious in giving them many opportunities to serve various church families. He is grateful to God for guiding him across the years and looks forward to continued ministry as the Lord leads.
